This site serves as a hub to connect Caltech Geological and Planetary Sciences (GPS) scientists with local K-12 teachers for accessible and inclusive field-based outreach.

The Teachers tab (below) contains Earth and Space Sciences lesson plans, field trips, and other resources for K-12 teachers, developed by Caltech GPS students, postdocs, and faculty. Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) teachers who would like to request a school visit from a Caltech GPS scientist for a lesson or field trip can do so through the Request Form tab in the Teachers page.

The Caltech Volunteers tab contains resources for Caltech GPS students, postdocs, and faculty who are interested in creating resources for K-12 teachers, and leading lessons and field trips at local PUSD schools. Caltech GPS volunteers who want to visit a school for a lesson or field trip can do so through the Volunteer Sign Up form.
